Dear Cabalist,
Some of you might be unaware, but I've been talking to Mami (IB from Inquisitors) about organizing 6 vs 6 PvP in the upcoming days. Exact date is yet to be discussed, especially that we have an extended weekend in Poland.
The idea of organized 6 vs 6 small scale PvP was born after few friendly PM's between me and order players. For starters I decided to organize a battle with Inquisitors guild.
What is this all about? Basically we're going to clash in some locked zone, where no one is going to interrupt us. We're going to battle multiple times, perhaps using diffrent setups. The only (but significant in my opinion) reward, is going to be a nice and competetive fight.
Rules I'm going to suggest to Mami:
- The party setup shall remain secret till the very battle. I think an element of surprise is going to spice it up (besides, we already know, we're going to face an IB for example)
- Every, single consumable item is allowed. That includes liniments, armor pots, healing potions etc. Both guild have few days to equip themselves properly.
- Every, single pocket item is allowed (absorbs, etc.) Both guilds have enough time to prepare perfect setup.
- Every, single non-pocket, non-consumable item is allowed (for example Harbringer Cape, Stag Mantle and Banners etc.).
- Every "non-shady" add-on allowed. People from Cabal don't use NerfedButtons, but I'm personally ok with people who do use it. It's all about trust anyways.
- W@rbuddy and other 3rd party programs of that type are out of question of course. I don't believe anyone would ever use them anyways. Matter of trust.
- We 're going to fight in locked zone of both parties choice. We might change zone after few battles.
- Signal. This is very important and we need to discuss it with Mami. Perhaps one person from our guild (outside of 6 man premade) is going to be on both voice communicators and signal start with waving or something. Yet to be discussed.
This is pretty much it guys. If possible, please log in Mumble today so we can have an extended discussion about it.
Sincerely,
Morholt

Why Qannik Does Not Speak on Mumble?
After an in-depth investigation I discovered the reason behind Qannik’s silence. Although he tries to keep it confidential, his identity will surprise you. Below you can find his picture.
Yes, right, he is Justin Bieber. Therefore he does not want to talk on mumble he want to keep his girly voice for teenage concerts and stuff like that. Don’t worry Justin we won’t tell anyone. Your secret is safe with us.

Second of all...
Patch 1.4.2 Notes has been released!
Many bug fixes (even PvE!.....To my surprise...), gear gap, rr gap, scenario shakeup and of course and redesign on Mourkain Temple ( they want to expand it, which means something good for rdps I hope )
Original patch notes below:
v1 4 2 Patch Notes: 4/19/2011
Highlights
Power Changes
The highlight of this patch is a continuing focus on the
Tier 4 experience in terms of power levels and power gaps. We took a look at the
mechanics for players at all applicable Renown ranks within Tier 4 with a
specific focus on the interplay between characters that are above Renown Rank 80
and those that are below. Based on the metrics, feedback, and discussions about
this, we decided to make some changes to the mechanics and items that are
available within this Tier. A number of item changes, additional items, and
small tweaks were made in preparation for this in the previous patch cycle. This
patch continues that process. For more details, see the individual sections
below.
Scenario Shakeup
The battle has shifted! With the advent of 1.4.2, the
lineup of the Scenarios has once again shifted. A number of old scenarios are
making their return, some are retiring for the moment, and others are shifting
tiers. For a full list of the new line-up, see the RVR section.
New Pets
A gaggle of new vanity pets have shown up in the capital
cities! From the loveable powder monkey to the enigmatic imp skeleton, there are
fun pets to have for all. Some of them are just companions to follow you around
between battles, while others are scrounging pets that will add 5% to the gold
looted with them active. Over time, they'll pay for themselves! These pets are
available for purchase via account entitlements that can be found at the EA
Store. Adopt a pet today!
Realm versus Realm
Scenarios
The line-up of scenarios that are permanently available
has changed. The new list is as follows:
Tier 1:
* Nordenwatch
* Gates of Ekrund
* Highpass Cemetary
Tier 2:
* Nordenwatch
* Mourkain Temple
* Stonetroll Crossing
Tier 3:
* Nordenwatch
* Mourkain Temple
* Tor Arnoc
* Reikland Factory
Tier 4:
* Nordenwatch
* Mourkain Temple
* Maws of Madness
* Serpent's Passage
* Gromril Crossing
* Thunder Valley
Combat and Careers
Renown Ranks
We have made behind the scene changes to how the
effective level of a character is calculated for characters that are above
Renown Rank 80. This alteration, in conjunction to the item changes made, will
help to ensure that the parity between Renown Ranks within Tier 4 feels more
natural. To do this, we have lowered the overall gap in effective levels between
Renown Ranks 80 and 100. The goal of this change is not to undermine the rewards
for gaining Renown Ranks, but to prevent imbalance and allow for a fun
experience for all players, including those that have proven their mettle in
battle. This change also gives us a good foundation to expand or enhance the
game going forward.

Items
General Changes and Bug Fixes
* As part of our examination of power levels and gaps for
characters in Tier 4, we have expanded upon the changes that begun in patch
1.4.1. To coincide with the effective level changes for Renown Ranks 80 through
100, the items that were introduced in Patch 1.4.0 have been modified so that
the item levels reflect these changes. All armors sets, individual armor drops,
and weapons for this range have been modified and the new values are reflected
in these items.
Item Changes
* Mounts that are given for account entitlements can now be
destroyed as they are recoverable via the claim window introduced in 1.4.1.
Art
Zone Updates
* Mourkain Temple has received an update to the layout. The
artifact is now located within the temple proper and the fighting area around
the temple has been expanded. Feedback about this change will be solicited in a
Dev Discussion on the official BioWare forums soon after the launch of the
patch.

King's speech #1 "debiut!?"
Welcome guild.
It's me - Your new leader (2nd after great myth Morash Roseflame)
I'm a good liar and I'll try to have bigger balls that I have (read: brave not stupid).
First I want to thank all of You for beeing in this conspiration (read: guild).
For people who are veterans now, there will be (just) a little changes, for rest... more than a little.
I'll not put any big acts of lore here. My guild brother Gobo is VERY helping me.
It's like it was with a new point at the end:
a) good taste and style
b) democracy
c) my way or a highway
I'll try to be as pro as Nirnak, as family as Gobo, as good as Scya, as fast thinking as Morholt,
as good cook as Enria, as happy as Dalgrimar and I'll try to understand Whezzer some day.
Once again thanks my brother (/bow), I'll not screw it and YOU MUST stay with us!

Quiet days and...Quick Escape I
Fellow Cabalists!
First of all I wanted to tell you that despite his little car accident, Nirnak is all fine and on his way to Germany/Poland (His car bursted into flames spontaneously, nothing too serious or life-threatening though). We're looking forward to meet him soon.
Dalgrimar is going to be away till Wednesday I believe, due to his trip to UK.
Gobo felt quite ill recently, I hope he's all well now. Fingers crossed for you Gobo!
So don't panic, our core premade members are humans too and they need vacation/time off just like we do sometimes!
Now that I think of it....All of them are greenskins. Do you see the pattern?
Now let's get to some WAR related stuff. Lately, I've been doing some research (mostly better escape methods and how to position yourself better). This is what I 've found out - One of the new Renown abilities, namely Quick Escape is bugged and it won't dispell itself on casting, turning it into some sort of more desirable odjira (eventhough the speed bonus is lower), especially for kiters and healers.
The issue has been reported.
...And Mythic didn't react.
Just as a reminder:
Quick Escape I - Cost: 10 Renown points. On being hit: 5 % chance to gain 25% movement speed for the next 5 seconds. Quick Escape will dispel is the caster uses an ability (This does not apply)
Quick Escape II - Cost: 15 Renown points. Duration increased to 10 seconds.
Quick Escape III - Cost: 20 Renown points. Higher speed increase of 35%.
Try it for yourself if you're in need of it of course.
Sincerely,
Morholt aka Bitterfly
